Our Company Retreat
As you may be aware on Friday the 20th of September 2019 the Eurofit Team braved the cold weather and flew off to Dublin. We have received a few questions about our retreat; why did we go? What did we do? So, here is the answers to your questions.
Why did the Eurofit Team go on a company retreat?
Throughout the past year, we have been growing rapidly and as a result, the business has been performing increasingly well. For our hard efforts we put into making this year such a successful year, the directors decided to take us to Dublin as a reward for the year so far. Over the weekend we all spent a lot of time together, so it was a great team-building exercise for everyone.
What did we do?
Friday – upon our arrival in Dublin we went for a mighty breakfast to prepare us for the busy day ahead – some of us were defiantly very excited about it!
After a couple of pit stops along the way the team arrived at the Guinness Storehouse, we all learned a very important skill – how to pull a pint of Guinness!
Later that day we thought it would a good opportunity to experience the local culture. We visited a traditional Irish restaurant for some more food (you can see a repeating theme of our trip – food!). We all enjoyed the happy Irish atmosphere and the wonderful entertainment from an Irish band and dancer.
Saturday – The next day came upon us and after our lovely evening meal together we all split into smaller groups to explore the different parts of the city. The boys chose to explore the waterpark which really was a great way to see the beautiful city. The rest of us took a bus tour all around the city to see what Dublin has to offer
After the brilliant tour around Dublin, we thought it would be a great idea to visit the Dublin Wax Museum, fair to say it was an interesting experience with some questionable waxworks.
When the evening dawned upon us, we came together again for a night of exploring what the Dublin nightlife has to offer.
Sunday – A very tired Eurofit team spent Sunday relaxing and preparing for our short journey home. Some of us took yet another bus tour and some of us checked out the Teeling Whiskey Distillery.
It's safe to say a great time was had by all on our company retreat to Dublin, and the trip was defiantly worth tiredness we all experienced when we returned to our desks on Monday, ready for the busy week ahead of us!
Hope you’ve enjoyed reading about our busy weekend in Dublin for our company retreat.
